THE GREAT FAMILY ROAD TRIP OF 2012

Its incredible how everything worked out so that all of my grown children and most of their children can take an amazing roadtrip to celebrate my 60th birthday. The dads had to work things out with their employers so that they could get time off and the moms had to juggle the budget for awhile to have the funds to make it all happen. You guys are awesome to go to so much effort to make my 60th celebration happen for me. Thanks.

Where are we going?  To The Wilds of Wyoming*  Big Trails and the Upper Nowood to be exact. A location known as the Greet Ranch and home of the A-A ranch established just over 100 years ago by my grandfather and his brother. We are going to have a whole lot of fun enroute. So let's get started.

This morning started early so that we could get on the road by 7am. We had to take a bit of a detour for a couple of hours so that Ame could get to a tutoring session for her math class. She loaded the back end of the Yukon. Amazing how much that backend hold. Bags and gear for six plus snacks and stuff. I was impressed.

The boys were up and ready to go before their eyes were open this morning. So excited to go to Wyoming. They asked everyday for a couple of weeks, "Are we going to Wyoming today?"  Notice the jacket Jonny is wearing? We thought he had a t-shirt under it. When his dad suggested he take it off because it was too hot outside he told us, "well ya know I don't have a shirt on."

We're all in our placesWith bright smiling faces
And this is the way
 We start our vacay!  ;0)

Someone's M.I.A.     Weeeee aaaaarrrre Waaaaaa-Tinnnngg!!
