The Great Family Road Trip 2012 continued

Can I just say that this blogging stuff is harder than everyone makes it look or sound?  I'm learning how to insert photos that are pleasingly displayed. This is going to be an adventure in itself. Hope you don't get put off and stick with me.

So. Let's get back to the synopsis of our fantastic family road trip. The whole purpose of this trip was two fold, 1 -- to celebrate my 60th birthday in style (which we did with gusto) and 2 -- for my children to meet my biological father Neil Franklin Greet and his two surviving brothers George age 98 and John age 85 (I think). Success on both accounts. I am so blessed with awesome people in my life.

Let the Party begin!!

Almost everyone is in this picture taken at Tommy's in Barstow, California. Evelynne, Joe, and Shelbi had a work related obligation on the day of departure and met up with us in St. George, Utah.

The hats are our traveling family reunion equivalent to family reunion t-shirts. (Pictures later) The adults all have white caps and the kids all have red ones. They really turned out to be handy when it came to counting kids and locating each other if when we got separated from each other.

We were so excited to get started the kids could hardly eat they just wanted to hug their cousins and dance around and be loud. I wonder what the servers thought when they saw a gaggle of 10 kids in red caps rush into the bathrooms and then to the counter. May have been a little overwhelming. We are an exuberant family think loud, lol.  Next stop The Claridge Inn at St. George, Utah.

My computer or perhaps blogspot is having difficulties tonite. I will have to try to do more tomorrow. Anyone else having trouble with crashing?
